On the LAUSD the Draft Environmental Impact Report on their planned high school, to be constructed on the CSUN campus (location is on Zelzah, north of Plummer).
B Second vote on bylaw changes.
The boundaries change was unanimously approved at our 12-19-01 meeting and our bylaws require a second vote at this meeting.
DONE has informed us that the "Old Northridge Council" have the required 20,000 residents in it's area. Under our bylaws we clearly state that:
"2. The Council may adjust these boundaries at any time, if deemed to be in the best interests of the Council ".
As these residents have the right to self determine their representation, and now meet the requirements for a council, we propose the following changes to our boundaries by adding:
"Except for the area bounded by Nordhoff on the North, Lindely on the East, Roscoe on the South and Tampa on the West which is the Old Northridge Community Council. The commercial zoned area along Reseda, and the industrial zoned area along Parthenia and the Railroad tracks, will be shared between the two Councils."
Amend our application to DONE to reflected these changes.
