Stakeholders vote on all advice the council makes to LA City. The Officers and Directors make internal decisions for the council.
We will ask you to sign in at the meeting and please provide an E-mail address so we may notify you of meetings and addresses. See our privacy policy. Under the Brown Act you are not required to sign in or provide any information to speak or participate. All stakeholders will have an opportunity to address the meeting on each agenda item and can make a 3 minute comment on issues that are not on the agenda in the Public Comment time.

1. Call to order, General comments by Walter Prince
A. To save time the minutes will be approved at out 3-19-03 meeting
B. Treasurer's report and pass the hat as it is our only funding source. Andy Anderson.
A. Elections for Board of Directors. Our bylaws called for the 7 directors with highest votes to have two year terms and the rest to have one year terms. A number of directors (A Anderson, C. Brink, D Boberg - as ex officio, J. Lowenthal, L Magnuson, J Parker, W. Prince, and R. Rozanski,) have resigned to allow their seats to be voted on at this meeting.
To be elected to two year terms are Andy Anderson, Neil Bethke, Charles Brink, Dorothy Boberg , Sandy Farrell Jane Lowenthal, Walter Prince, John Ramadan, Susan Steele, and Irwin Silon. As these 10 seats are available all will be elected as a group under our existing bylaws which allows a variable number of Directors.
B. Vote on proposed Bylaw Changes requested by DONE. Unless we make these changes, DONE refuses to bring the vote on our certification to the commission.
C. Proposed Bylaw Changes proposed by Dorothy Boeberg. To make the Nominating meeting in October, the Election in November and the New directors take their position at the January meeting. This is for discussion and a possible vote at our next meeting.
D. A motion to allow the council to protest DONE certifying any council within our designated boundaries before our certification vote by the commission.
E. The community is asked to comment on issues that they think are important concerning Northridge as a community.
