6-18-03 Meeting Agenda

The Northridge Community Council will hold it's next meeting on 6-18-03, 7:30 pm, at our new location in the library at Holmes Middle School, 9351 Paso Robles Ave. map.

The Northridge Council consists of all Northridge stakeholders. A Stakeholder is defined as anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area (Los Angeles City Charter, Sec 906(3)). Stakeholders vote on all advice the council makes to LA City. The Officers and Directors make internal decisions for the council.

We will ask you to sign in at the meeting and please provide an E-mail address so we may notify you of meetings and addresses. See our privacy policy. Under the Brown Act you are not required to sign in or provide any information to speak or participate. All stakeholders will have an opportunity to address the meeting on each agenda item and can make a 3 minute comment on issues that are not on the agenda in the Public Comment.

A. Minutes will be submitted from our 5-21-03 meeting. Motion to approve will be made.

B. Treasurer's report and "pass the hat" as it is our only funding source. Andy Anderson.

C. Report on certification status and a request for members for the committee concerning our presentation at the long delayed certification hearing presently set for 7-1-03 at 6:30 pm at H

6. Announcements

A special meeting will be held at the certification meeting (7-1-03). The only agenda item will be the second vote on the bylaw changes approved at the 6-18-03 meeting.

7. Refreshments and Door prize

This month we'll have two door prizes: Dinner for Two at Outback Restaurant and "A Maintenance Package Special" from Pep Boys. Dessert for the evening is sponsored by Wal-Mart, Lani Kai Abbott, manager.
