A The Los Angeles Fire Department presentation on the location of a replacement fire station in the Balboa Devonshire area and the Air operations at Van Nuys Airport has been continued at their request to our January 15, 2003 meeting. The Fire Department on progress in building facilities as a result of the bonds passed in 2001.
B. Nominations for Board of Directors. Our bylaws called for the 7 directors with highest votes to have two year terms and the rest to have one year terms. We had 14 candidates for 15 seats and all were elected with the same number of votes. A number of directors will resign to allow their seats to be voted on at our next meeting.
C. Proposed Bylaw Changes negotiated between DONE and by Jane Lowenthal for discussion and a possible vote at our next meeting. Unless we make these changes DONE refuses to bring the vote on our certification to the commission.
D the community is asked to comment on issues that they think is important concerning Northridge as a community.
